Using the desktop apps

The Mac and Windows apps work like the phone apps. Need to install one? Install on desktop.

Connect the computer to the internet, open FilmApp and sign in with your project PIN.
Wait for the project to finish loading. When Offline bereit (offline ready) appears, the content is saved on the computer.
Select the scene and play. You can now do this without internet.

After project changes, briefly open the app online before the next shoot and wait for the update to finish.

Download a package for another PC

Only needed if the target PC can never connect to the internet or app installation is not allowed.

Install the desktop app and open the project on another computer with internet access.
In the app, click the download icon beside the desktop scene to download its ZIP package.
Copy the package to the target PC, for example on a USB stick. Extract the entire ZIP and open hier-klicken-zum-start.html in a browser. No app installation or internet connection is needed there.

Prepare the browser for filming

Hide the bookmarks bar and switch the browser to full screen:

Chrome: Hide bookmarks with Ctrl ⇧ B (Windows) or ⌘ ⇧ B (Mac). Full screen: F11 (Windows) or ⌃ ⌘ F (Mac).
Firefox: View → Toolbars → Bookmarks Toolbar → Never Show. Full screen: F11 (Windows) or View → Enter Full Screen (Mac).
Safari: View → Hide Favorites Bar. Use the green window button to enter full screen.

Move the pointer away from the top edge so the browser bars disappear.

Desktop scenes

Desktop scenes show a computer interface with wallpaper and windows. Look for the monitor icon in the overview. Click the row to open the scene; the arrow expands its windows.

Arrange and save windows

Open the desktop scene while connected to the internet.
Move and resize the windows with the mouse.
Click Save at the bottom of the taskbar. The window positions are restored on the next start.
